Emma O’Brien is an emerging Sydney based arts writer and creative. Her practice explores the space between the seductive and the uncomfortable. Building on a tension between what is real and what is imagined, visceral and unnerving. Inspired by Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis theory of the Id; her work encapsulates the notions of personality organization, identity and mental health.
